Position Summary:

Diaceutics are building a whole new SaaS product to revolutionize how we deliver value to our customers. We need somebody who lives in pattern libraries and leaves white boards looking like a work of art. This role will redefine how we deliver to our customers now and into the future.

We are seeking an experienced, SaaS focused Senior Product Designer to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll be centre stage in engaging with our Knowledge & Insights teams to understand how our customers consume our services and be at the forefront of how that is refactored from a PowerPoint and Excel delivery mechanism to an engaging, interactive SaaS experience, encompassing data visualization and exploration.

We need somebody who is comfortable designing in unchartered territory, learning our domain and how we have delivered historically and innovating ways to change how we engage with our customers and partners. The result will be a rich and compelling product that supports our move to multi-year SaaS projects with our customers.

You need to be able to push your ideas with data and experience, working with multiple stakeholders to deliver on their needs in a consistent way that helps build the Diaceutics brand. This role is key to the design of our future business.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Drive product design efforts for your Global Data team, championing our internal and external customers while leading discussions, workshops, prototyping, user testing and polished UI design.
  2. Work closely with pilot customers to turn their needs into features that align with the roadmap for the application.
  3. Collaborate with the Knowledge & Insights Team to define and meet project milestones on the path to a marketable product.
  4. Drive design reviews with the team and other stakeholders; be able to present and articulate your work and give and receive feedback.
  5. Grow – in your craft, in your responsibilities, and in your career.

Experience /  Requirements:

  1. Passion for beautiful and intuitive product design and a track record to back it up.
  2. A portfolio of exceptional product design chops with solutions to complex UX product problems, and the ability to articulate how you got there.
  3. 4+ years in a UX Designer or Product Designer role.
  4. Ability to learn new domains to get inside the heads of our internal and external customers.
  5. Demonstrable skills facilitating workshops and running user testing with internal and external audiences.
  6. Ability to communicate effectively with others and to plan and manage your own workload.
  7. A keen understanding of UX and product design trends and best practices.
  8. An understanding of how the underlying technology of our applications works and the ability to know when to design within technology limits and when to push the limits for user delight.
  9. Experience working within an Agile team environment.
  10. Expert in tools such as Sketch and other prototyping apps.
  11. SaaS experience.
