Aiya is the Financial controller placed in Belfast. The day to day duties include preparation and monitoring of external and internal financial reporting for Diaceutics. Aiya is an integral part of the Diaceutics finance team.
Alvin is responsible for project management and laboratory connection development and coordination in the Great China region and Japan. He has academic qualifications in biomedicine and previous experience in the pharmaceutical and CRO industry. Alvin has a strong scientific background in clinical/pathology laboratory operation and vendor relationship management.
Amit is responsible for strategic business development and growth. His responsibilities include prospecting and qualifying new business opportunities, client relationship management and alignment with the marketing team. Amit has spent 20 years in developing and commercializing in vitro diagnostics products for cancer, infectious diseases, neurological disorders and agricultural crop protection (GMO). He has academic and professional qualifications in business administration and genetics.

Clair has previous experience in academic research for Cardiovascular disease & molecular oncology, followed by several years In-Vitro toxicology in industry with focus on inflammatory mediators. She has over 10 years experience in sales, covering human genetics, oncology and prenatal testing. Clair has developed and implemented commercial strategies for products in highly regulated areas and complex markets, both in the UK and Nordic region.
Damian is responsible for overseeing operational excellence across the Company. In his position he provides the leadership, management and vision necessary to ensure that the company has the proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures in place to effectively grow the organisation and to ensure financial strength and operating efficiency . Damian has more than 20 years’ experience in the operation design and construction of Industrial facilities across the globe, with more than 15 years specialist Pharmaceutical experience.
As Scientific Director, Dawn works directly with laboratories to highlight opportunities for improved testing availability. She provides face-to-face education and workshops, engaging with advisors and key opinion leaders in relevant therapeutic areas. Dawn is an HCPC-registered biomedical scientist with over 25 years’ experience in histopathology, IHC and molecular pathology. She has worked as a lab manager/senior scientific officer/director of operations and senior biomedical scientist at the NHS and in the research, independent and EQA fields. Dawn has worked in major research and academic labs and large teaching hospitals in London. She recently provided support at UK NEQAS ICC and ISH as an assessor.
Derek leads the Global Data Team in Diaceutics. The team has two main functions. The Analytics function provide data insights to support our project deliverables. The Engineering function are responsible for the integration of data into our global data lake and the design and development of our software products.

Gladys has over 10 years experience in biomarker research.
Helen provides secretarial and administrative support to both the COO, Damian Thornton and CIO, Ryan Keeling and looks after EXCO. She has 30+ years’ experience as an Office Manager/Senior Executive Assistant employed mainly in the Northern Ireland private sector and has worked for high profile CEO's in Government, Pharma and the legal sector. She has been responsible for the organisation of several major industry conferences throughout Ireland.

Jamil’s role is to develop and implement a digital marketing strategy that generates leads and increases corporate visibility. As a marketing manager in the US he worked with a number of large companies and with over 20 small businesses, developing and implementing marketing campaigns. Jamil has ten years of marketing experience servicing multiple channels which includes five years in dedicated digital marketing.
Jeff supports the team by developing relationships with laboratories in the USA. His primary role is to leverage lab resources to enable optimized diagnostic launch planning with pharma companies. Jeff has academic and professional qualifications in business development, pathology and genetics and has had commercial leadership roles with high-complexity diagnostic testing laboratories. He has focused on healthcare partnership opportunities and building strong relationships with pathologists, physicians, administrators and C-suite executives.
As part of the quality team, Jessica ensures the high quality of deliverables by checking the consistency of presentation and clarity of the message before any decks or presentation materials are released to the client. Jessica has over 3 years experience working within genetic laboratory's.
Joanne provides administrative support to Peter Krein, Jordan Clark and the wider Operations Team. She has over 8 years’ experience as an Executive Assistant working with CEOs/Directors in both the private and public sector. Joanne was recently EA to the CE of Northern Ireland’s largest private sector employer and has also worked in local government. She has academic qualifications in media studies and an LCCI Executive Secretary Diploma.
Jone focuses on the development of laboratory networking and the understanding of testing regulations in Spain. She has academic qualifications in biotechnologies and molecular medicine and a background in cancer biomarker research. In addition, Julie has a track record as an experienced entrepreneur, having co-founded and served as President and CEO of Cantilever Technologies, a venture-backed software company that was successfully acquired. Cantilever’s customers were Fortune 500 companies. Prior to Cantilever, she was President of the Strategic Systems Group (SSG), a boutique information technology consulting firm, and co-founder of Technology Solutions (TSC), a professional IT services firm which went public three years after its inception. In addition to her role at UTS, Ms. Goonewardene is an author, frequent speaker and consultant on entrepreneurship and innovation. Based on success in these areas, Julie was elected to the Board of Trustees for the American Medical Association (AMA), the Board of Directors of the Personalized Medicine Coalition and Matrix-Bio and is an advisor on the National Advisory Council on Innovation and Entrepreneurship (NACIE) Board to the US Commerce Secretary. Karina is responsible for leading strategic development initiatives and manage the Global Lab Team, Europe. Expanding the Global Lab network will have a strategic focus. European lab team will support pharmaceutical client’s initiatives in optimizing implementation and follow-up support of specific biomarkers/companion diagnostics relevant to client’s specific needs. The team will have direct engagement and contact with laboratories in Europe to identify visibility of the testing landscape and proposals for testing improvements.
Karina has a strong experience leading the Global Scientific Relation/Key Opinion Leader Program within Dako/Agilent and been responsible for implementation of several companion diagnostic tests within anatomic pathology for more than 20 years.
Kevin has over 10 years experience working the IVD industry holding various sales and marketing roles. With a focus on commercialization of CDx in alignment with Rx launch and life cycle across global territories, working on regulatory approvals of IVDs including PMAs. With his knowledge and experience of in vitro diagnostic launch planning and commercialization execution, Kevin provides insights and builds strategies for unique personalized medicine project needs.
Lauren assists the EM team with lab mapping and market research. Driving efficiencies through effective data sanity checks whilst producing accurate information for our pharma clients.
Lauren has over 8 years’ experience within a Diagnostic Genetics laboratory extracting DNA and RNA from various sample types across multiple platforms. Specialising in Cytogenetic and Molecular fields including Sanger sequencing, Microarrays, RT-PCR and ddPCR.
Madeline is in charge of the day-to-day running of the company’s finance department and her duties include payroll, sales and purchase ledger, credit control and statutory returns. She has academic and professional qualifications in business and finance and linguistic science and has 20 years’ experience in a finance capacity with private sector businesses.
Marcos is responsible for providing understanding of the particularities of laboratories, regulation and reimbursement in Latin America. He has academic and professional qualifications in oncogenetics, molecular biology and business, and has expertise in molecular oncology tests, particularly qPCR and gene expression profiling. He has headed a molecular biology team and worked for a major clinical laboratory in Brazil.

Mick has academic and professional qualifications in software engineering. Neil manages client projects, providing scientific and strategic insights into laboratory tests, their commercial use and integration into clinical pathways. Neil has a background in laboratory medicine and 25 years’ global experience in clinical diagnostic genetics laboratories, with a focus on oncology. He has been a UK NEQAS assessor and has written guidelines for analysis of laboratory tests. Neil has academic and professional qualifications in genetics and is a Diplomate of the Royal College of Pathologists.
As a Diagnostic Lab Liaison, Olga works directly with laboratories to pinpoint channels where testing improvement may be applied. Olga is a biomedical scientist with over 12 years’ experience in epidemiology, infectious diseases, microbiology, cardiovascular science, inflammation, and biostatistics. She has worked as a test developer and researcher in largest research and academic institutions in Sweden and Russia. She is focusing on building long-term relationships with physicians, pathologists, laboratories in the Nordics countries.

As Chief Financial Officer of Diaceutics, Philip has responsibility for all administrative, financial and risk management operations. He works closely with the management team and Board of Directors to develop and implement strategies across the organization. In addition, Philip is responsible for maintaining compliance with US, UK and Republic of Ireland financial reporting, taxation and corporate governance standards.
Philip has over ten years’ financial and management experience as the Finance Director of a company in a global export market, as well as significant experience in product development, planning and product launch. He is an acting board member of a UK charity and has significant experience at board level in the charitable and not-for-profit sector. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland, an associate member of the Institute of Taxation and a member of the Institute of Directors.
Piarella oversees the planning, development and execution of marketing strategy and implementation for our patient advocacy efforts. Here role empowers patients with regards to their diagnostic needs and to modify the diagnostic ecosystem with patients, and for patients. Piarella is a Patient Advocate with extensive experience in non-profit organisations at an international level.
Pilar focuses on the development of laboratory networking and the understanding of testing regulations in Spain. She has academic and professional qualifications in biochemistry, molecular biology, medical chemistry and biotechnology. Pilar has many years’ experience in oncological research, particularly in breast, colon and pancreatic tumours.
As Senior Vice President of Sales, Roderick manages the global Account Management and Business Development teams of Diaceutics. Roderick is a highly accomplished pragmatic and entrepreneurial healthcare business executive with over 25+ years of outstanding achievements in obtaining top results leading sales teams. Throughout his career, Roderick has amassed significant experience in several aspects sales, marketing and operations though corporate entities such as Merck, Eli Lilly and Amerisource Bergen culminating a wealth of specific industry knowledge in oncology precision medicine.

Ruchit establishes and maintains client relationships and plays a key role in the design, development, management and delivery of pharma consulting projects. He has a background in medical communications. Ruchit has developed education materials for medical science liaison and directors' external use with key-opinion leaders and collaborated with commercial partners on developing a communications plan to support medical strategy.
Sarah has responsibility for all human resources operations and strategy, ensuring employment law compliance across the company. Sarah has an academic background in law and human resource management and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development. She has 14 years’ experience in HR management across both private and public sectors, delivering strategic HR objectives to support and further corporate goals.
As Director of Marketing, Sarah is responsible for coordinating daily operations of the marketing department, managing our presence at global conferences and delivering events in collaboration with clients and laboratory partners. Sarah has postgraduate qualifications and an academic background in marketing, communications and public relations. With eight years professional experience in marketing and event management delivering corporate and non-profit sector events on a global scale, she brings a high level of experience to the growing Marketing department.

As team leader, Steve is responsible for overseeing the planning, development and execution of Diaceutics' marketing strategy and tactics. Steve drives efforts for Diaceutics to be recognized as thought leaders for the industry in precision medicine and diagnostic health. Overseeing public relations, events management and digital marketing activities, the team drives communication efforts to promote provocative perspectives in this dynamic environment.
Steve’s experience in the pharmaceutical industry includes a 12-year tenure at GlaxoSmithKline, where he supported and led US market launches of multiple brands and indications across a variety of therapeutic areas. As Director of Global Marketing, he oversaw international efforts to drive market development and lifecycle activities for the metabolic product portfolio, and spearheaded the creation of the innovation function within the US vaccines division. In addition, Steve has served as Management Advisor for TGaS Advisors, building the global marketing benchmark solution from its infancy into a standard offering for the firm.

As Brand Director for Diagnostic Landscapes and Strategy, Wayne is responsible for overseeing the planning, development, and execution of the marketing strategy and implementation for the Diaceutics diagnostic landscape and data tracking products. He has a background in data and analytics to support pharma, and has held roles in pharma sales, marketing and early commercialization.
Wendy designs and codes applications that run on the web to access new Diaceutics services, such as the lab database tool. Wendy has a PhD in Cancer Drug Resistance. She has worked for Queens University Belfast for 16 years as a bioinformatician in personalised Medicine within Colo rectal Cancer.
Zarina heads the in-house legal function. She has over 12 years’ multi-jurisdictional legal experience in various industries in Singapore and the UK including financial services, oil & gas, power and media. Zarina is a qualified solicitor in England and Wales.
